  1. README FILE FOR WAITE GROUP PRESS DELPHI DEVELOPERS SOLUTIONS:

  3. 1) Several of the items mentioned in the book did not make the CD:
  4.  
  5.    a) The fix for the FTP Binary download has eluded us. when it is ready,
  6.       we will post fixed code on the Waite Group Press Web site www.waite.com,
  7.       and the CIUPKC Software Web site www.tde.com/ciupkc/welcome.html
  8.  
  9.    b) The Windows 95 Printer API how-to is also available at the web sites
  10.       listed above.
  11.  
  12.    c) Some of the components didn't make it onto the CD which are mentioned
  13.       in the book; they will appear on the web sites likewise.
  14.  
  15.    d) The cheat sheet on the CD is a minimum issue, the fuller one is at the
  16.       CIUPKC Web site.

  18. 2) If you are using network drives to install the CD, contact kilgalen@tde.com
  19.    for a network-capable version of the installation program.
  20.  
  21. 3) If you experience problems with the internet software, be sure to check
  22.    the following:
  23.  
  24.    a) Your winsock is up and available.
  25.    b) You have correctly entered a server in the dialog box. the default
  26.       entries won't work for anyone but the author.
  27.    c) If you still have problems, delete the CCICC.INI file from C:\WINDOWS.
  28.       Sometimes it gets corrupted and confuses the application.
  29.    d) If this doesn't work, contact kilgalen@tde.com for fixes. i'll support
  30.       this book till it dies...

  32. 4) You will find GOODIES, CHTSHT, DEMOS, and SHARWARE in the SHARWARE
  33.    directory when you install the software to your hard drive. You may
  34.    move these anywhere you'd like once the software is installed.
